It's always useful to understand how the tool should work according to what you want it to do. Wish they had included the full manual rather than having to use the CD or print ourselves. Surely the easier way to get into it is hands-on practice and trial and error (as I did), but still I've listed some guides here for anyone who is interested to read:
With Powershot S95's RAW shooting ability, it will be good to have readily-available software for post-processing. FYI, a RAW image is raw data recorded with nearly no deterioration in image quality resulting from image processing inside the camera. One of it is Digital Photo Professional from Canon itself. Operation wise, I did refer to it a few times to locate specific camera functions hidden inside the menu (due to its lack of external controls). More on display, menu and controls next time.
