The S95 in Playback Mode

Quick Playback

One unique feature of the S95 is that you can turn it on in Playback mode without the lens extending or the lens cap opening i.e. not in Shooting mode. Just press and hold the PLAY button to turn it on instead of the ON/OFF button. This will certainly save some battery when you only want to view the photos. Pressing the shutter button halfway while in Playback mode switches the camera to Shooting mode.

Clock Functions

• When the camera is OFF, just press the PLAY and FUNC/SET buttons simutaneously for about 1 second, the camera will display a clock showing the current time.
• If the camera is ON, just hold the FUNC/SET button for about 1 second then the clock will appear.
• If you hold the camera vertically while using the clock function, it will switch to vertical display.
• You can also change the background display color by pressing left and right buttons on the control dial or simply turn the dial.
• Press the FUNC/SET button again to cancel the clock function.
